Your base will be Teleborg Church, but the role involves close collaboration with the parishes in Tävelsås, Vederslöv, and Kalvsvik. You will become part of a team of 15 dedicated colleagues.

About the role

As a Kantor (Church Musician) with us, you will, together with your colleagues, be responsible for and develop the parish's musical activities. You contribute to creating vibrant services where music is a natural and central part, and help shape the activities based on existing needs.

Responsibilities

• Play during services, church ceremonies, and devotions
• Lead and develop choir activities, including children's choirs
• Plan and conduct music services and musical projects
• Collaborate with colleagues in services and activities
• Inspire and engage volunteers in musical life

• Is a trained Kantor with experience in parish work
• Has musical breadth and competence, as well as a desire to develop the activities
• Is familiar with the Church of Sweden's musical and theological traditions
• Wants to highlight the role of music in the service, where words and tones become paths to the Gospel
• Has good collaboration skills and enjoys working across professional boundaries
• Is outgoing and easily creates and maintains good contacts
• Wants to contribute to engagement and participation in the parish

Requirements

• Valid driver's license (Class B)
• Access to a personal car
• Membership in the Church of Sweden and agreement with its values
